Performance Accelerator selected by the world’s largest emergency ambulance service

London Ambulance Service NHS Trust has selected Performance Accelerator from Dynamic Change following a market review and competitive tender process.

Performance Accelerator will manage all aspects of the Trusts governance and reporting requirements it will be used to establish an efficient, effective and coherent governance reporting structure that underpins the delivery of the organisation’s corporate objectives.

Performance Accelerator customers selected as best practice examples in the latest NHS governance handbook

The book is the latest guidance from governance experts Dr John Bullivant, Andrew Corbett Nolan and Professor Michael Deighan. With the title Integrated Governance: Delivering reform on two and a half days a month it is a must have practical guide to integrated governance for the health service today.

Dynamic Change is delighted that a number of Performance Accelerator customers have been selected by the authors to provide case studies of good governance practice in the book.

Healthcare Commission addresses the Performance Accelerator user group in London

The Head of NHS Assessments at The Healthcare Commission presented an overview on the future of regulation in the NHS at the Performance Accelerator user group in London.

Users were given the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions about all aspects of the Annual Health Check. Hugh Ashley, Director, Dynamic Change commented, “We are committed to supporting the Performance Accelerator user community. By continually securing relevant and high profile contributions and input our customers are informed sooner about what is required to deliver results”.

Performance Accelerator customers are selected by the Health Service Journal (HSJ) to share their experiences on effective management of the Annual Healthcheck.

Three members of the Performance Accelerator customer community will be speaking at the forthcoming HSJ Conference in London. The speakers who each use Performance Accelerator to manage the Annual Healthcheck as well as other areas of governance are from:

  • University Hospital Birmingham Foundation Trust
  • Norfolk & Waveney Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust
  • City and Hackney Primary Care Trust

Performance Accelerator is recognised as a ‘best practice case study’ by Wales Audit Office in the Wales Programme for Improvement Annual Report 2005/2006.

The report highlights how Ceredigion County Council uses Performance Accelerator to manage and monitor business objectives, risks, PIs and financial targets, as well as meet compliance and regulatory obligations. Over 40 people contribute to updating the system, including identifying risks to achievement, providing status and key messages on progress.
